The purpose of Sigma Kappa Sorority is to unite its members in a bond of sincere friendship and sisterhood for the development of character. We strive to promote social and intellectual culture to support and further the programs and objectives of colleges where its chapters are functioning. High standards of achievement such as scholastically, socially, and spiritually are things that Sigma Kappa’s work towards. We work towards making a constructive contribution to the communities in which its’ collegiate and alumnae clubs are located through encouraging the exercise of the rights and obligations of good citizens and by the support of worthwhile civic, social, and philanthropic projects.
